While
not in the historic demonstration, but in the nearby showcase area
was the 1021 Ballot 2LS. Augurably one of the most significant pre-war
cars in Australia. This Ballot is one of only three surviving cars
worldwide, but has the even rarer history of being in the same family
ownership since about 1924. The car features its original paintwork,
now quite flaked after spending more than 50 years stored in a barn
in country Victoria. Custodian Alistair McArthur regularly gets the
Ballot out on VSCC runs.
