Historic Racing Australia has arranged, in conjunction with OzLink Entertainment and Fairfax Media an exhibition of photographics taken over the years by Fairfax photographers.
The exhibition is located at Media House, Collins St, Docklands (cnr Spencer St, opposite Southern Cross Railway Station), and is open Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The exhibition includes 90 images, 70 of which are from The Age archives, and the remainder are prints of Mike Harbar’s original art works.
To complete this photographic display is the immaculate 1956 Cooper T41 Climax of Tom Roberts. This is the car that Sir Jack Brabham first brought to New Zealand/Australia in 1957, and competed with it in the 1957 Australian Grand Prix at Caversham (WA) and the 1957 Victorian Trophy at Albert Park.
