In 1963 Italian Manufacturing magnate Feruccio Lamborghini founded Automobili Lamborghini S.P.A., the company is headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in Northern Italy.

Your visit begins in the newly refurbished museum located at the main entrance to the factory. It features their first model, the 350GT and the unforgettable Miura, the collection showcases the brand from it’s formation with examples of all of their models up to the present day including Formula 1 cars and other Racing Cars on display.

Technology is on show everywhere, with displays of engines and examples of other technological developments, the use Carbon Fiber, the use of Aluminum and the development of the SUV. Exhibits document the company’s history and are enhanced with memorabilia.

The experience continues when you walk through the doors into the factory for the guided tour of the production line.

Craftsmanship is the ethos here, you sense the pride of the skilled people building their particular part of the car from the Chassis, V12 Engine, Gearbox, Suspension, Brakes, Carbon Fiber body and the Customized Leather Interiors, you see each part coming together to produce a completed exotic high quality and high speed sports car.

When you see this high quality hand crafted process you can understand the price.

Lamborghini has had a number of owners over the years and has been part of the Volkswagen Group since 1987 and is part of their AUDI Group.
